Plans underway!
- February 2015. There are plans underway to organise the next IFIP WG9.2 meeting in the UK in February 2015. A second meeting, co-organised with the International Baccalaureate (among others) will be focused around plans for tomorrow’s digital citizens, thanks to IFIP WG9.2 member, Richard Taylor. More information in late November/early December 2014.
- 1 February 2015 (Call for papers). ETHICOMP 2015: 20 Years of ETHICOMP: A Celebration, De Montfort University, Leicester, UK, Monday to Wednesday, 7-9 September 2015. You are especially invited to submit a paper to the TC9/WG9.2-oriented track called “ICT and Society: social accountability, professional ethics and the challenges of virtuality and the cloud”. Several other tracks/themes are of interest: information ethics studies, digital do-it-yourself, responsible research and innovation in industry, robo-ethics, and more. The conference proceedings will be on an online open-access repository to ensure good coverage. WG9.2 members are especially welcome! http://www.dmu.ac.uk/ethicomp2015.
